A Beautiful Day

It was so sunny and nice out today. I got to go to the park and get some shots in nature. I walked around for an hour or two before going back to my car to find out I left my keys on the seat. GREAT! so I walked home and fifteen minutes later I was on my roller blades with my spare key.

The Craziness is Over

So Jungle Book has ended its final chapter and has come to a close. It will be nice to have Friday nights to play and Saturday mornings to sleep again. I have both showcases this week for the two classes I've been teaching; improv and couples dance. I have to be in the couples one because one guy dropped out of the showcase and one twisted his knee. I'm not sure what to do about his partner yet. I went to see Joseph at Cutting Hall in Palatine and it is really fun. The colorful megamix lights up the stage. I am so over-ready for school to be done and for summer to begin.

It's been a While

So I've been neglecting all this writing stuff. I have a lot too catch up on. School is still going on strong. Right now Jungle Book, which I asst directed/asst choreographed, is in full swing. It has been a challenge because we wanted it to feel authentically Indian. The animals rock the show with their knockout song. The sets, too, are outstanding!







I also had the pleasure of taking prom shots for Jon and Dana. The both looked great and are so hilarious together. I had the chance to do some headshots for Dana for her allstate musical audition. we knocked em out in like ten minutes before I taught my improv class, but I think they turned out well.

Trinity 2008

So I had a blast from the past when I asked the girls to pose for a poster I was giving a friend for a birthday gift. We made this calendar of these girls 5 or so years back and I wanted to bring back the memory for her birthday. They are some lovely ladies!

Camping Trip

So I went to Fall Creek Falls in Tennessee. It was crazy fun. I drove to Nashville Thursday and me and Joe went to get all the groceries. Then Christa, Matt, Joe, and I headed down to the campgrounds. When we got there, after getting lost, we had no site because they were all full. So we found some grass outside of the grounds and pitched a tent for the night. We got up at 6:30 the next morning and got the best site on the grounds. Woo Hoo! Sara and Chad met us the next day, Amy and Jeremy the day after that. We met a family who became our rival volley ball team and also hit the trails

Cin-Sin-Nasty

So I just got back from moving Carl into his apartment in the ghetto of Ohio. It was a blast hanging out with Alex, Megan, and Lauren. What a hoot! It wa also fun carrying all of Carl's things up the 65 stairs to his place. The place has barn-like floors with huge planks with some pieces cracked off. Let's just say the place has a lot of charater.
